John's Gospel

St. John is depicted as an eagle because his Gospel soars to the heavens. The whole Bible is a gold mine of riches, but all the books of the Bible, none is a richer vein than John. Here we encounter the Son of God made man who remakes us into a new creation. John portrays Jesus' life in such a marvelous way it becomes an unforgettable lesson in self-sacrificing love. It is the greatest of love stories. It is hoped that this commentary will open your heart to embrace our loving Lord, who came as a lamb to take away the sins of the world.
